Too + adjective/adverb + to + verb For example: She is too young to be on her own.      She cannot go out by herself because she is too young. It is too far to walk.                                We cannot walk there because it is too far. The box is too heavy to carry.              We cannot carry the box because it is too heavy. We use so with adjectives and a clause (subject + verb) to follow that. Normally the subject of the clause is not the same as the subject of the sentence. So + adjective/adverb + that + Clause For example: She is so young that her mother won't let her go out on her own. Your house is so far away form here that we can't walk there. This box is so heavy that we can't take it with us. Lyn runs so quickly that no one can catch up with her.
