Yesterday we went to see Edward III.
It is one of the most obscure plays by Shakespeare.
By obscure, I mean nobody is sure its by Shakespeare.
In the late 18th century, some people discovered the play and thought it was Shakespeare.
The play we saw wasnt great. It was interesting as something rare.
It doesnt get performed very often, so we thought we would like to see it for an experience. |

เมื่อวานเราไปดูละครเอ็ดวาร์ดที่สามมา
มันเป็นละครของเชคสเปียร์ที่ค่อนข้างจะแปลก หาดูยาก

I wanted to read the play before seeing it so that I could follow it better and
appreciate the language of the play properly. I dug out my Complete Works of William Shakespeare.
To my disappointment and disgust, my Complete Works does not include Edward III,
so I went to see it ignorant. We also knew nothing about the king himself
except that he started the 100-year war with France. He was not a famous king. |

We sat at the Upper Circle, which is the second floor balcony.
I always wanted to sit there. We always get stalls, which is just normal seats you know.
To my surprise, Upper Circles are cheaper and not good seats.
But it was a nice experience looking down onto the stage. |
