I slept most of the afternoon today.
It was hot but I slept like a baby for
over three hours. I must have been
tired for the past two weeks. I had
a long day yesterday. My no-plan
weekend turned out to be eventful
not quite the way I like it. Yesterday
afternoon I was with Tom. He just split up
with Kath and both of them are in seriously
bad situations. To cut the story short, it's
bad for both of them and I did everything
I could to help. I would not try to get them
together though. I know what I can do is
to be there for them when they fall.

ฉันนอนตลอดบ่ายวันนี้เลยอากาศร้อนแต่ฉันนอนหลับ
เป็นตายตั้งสามชั่วโมง ฉันคงจะเหนื่อยมาตลอดวันช่วง
สองอาทิตย์ที่ผ่านมาเมื่อวานฉันเหนื่อยมาก ที่คิดว่า
อาทิตย์นี้ไม่มีแผนการทำอะไรกลับกลายเป็นเรื่องเกิดขึ้น
เยอะแยะ แต่มันไม่ใช่สิ่งดีหรอกนะเมื่อวานตอนบ่ายฉัน
อยู่กับทอม เขาเพิ่งเลิกกับแคธ และทั้งสองกนกำลังมี
ปัญหามาก เล่าสั้นๆ ว่ามันแย่สำหรับทั้งสองคน และฉัน
ทำทุกอย่างที่ฉันทำได้ฉันจะไม่พูดให้เขาคืนดีกันหรอกนะ
ฉันรู้ว่าสิ่งที่ฉันทำได้คือการอยู่ช่วยเขาตอนเขาล้มลง

I went out last night with friends.
We planned to go to the German
Beer place on Rama III but we didn't
make a reservation. It was spontaneous.
We ended up in the Brewhouse instead.
I had to get home early because I arrange
to spend the night at a friend's place.
She picked me up at 10.30. I would love
to stick around with my friends who decided
to give the Beer place another try.
But I have arranged with another friend
to be with her tonight. Well, no matter how
free we are, we still have responsibilities
toward other fellow humans. It's Monday
again tomorrow. Oh, no. Good night, Bangkok.

ฉันไปเที่ยวกับเพื่อนต่อตอนกลางคืนเรากะว่าจะไปโรง
เบียร์บนถนน พระราม 3 กันแต่เราไม่ได้จองโต๊ะไว้เรา
ต้องไปบรูเฮ้าส์แทน ฉันกลับเร็วเพราะว่านัดว่าจะไปนอน
บ้านเพื่อน เขามารับตอนสี่ทุ่มครึ่ง ฉันอยากจะอยู่ต่อกับ
เพื่อนๆ เพราะว่าเขาจะกลับไปที่โรงเบียร์อีกครั้ง แต่ฉัน
นัดกับเพื่อนอีกคนไว้แล้วไม่ว่าเราจะอิสระอย่างไรเรา
ยังคงมีความรับผิดชอบต่อเพื่อนมนุษย์คนอื่น พรุ่งนี้ก็จะ
เป็นวันจันทร์อีกแล้ว แย่จัง ราตรีสวัสดิ์นะ กรุงเทพ
