We were using the laundry machines for free since they wanted to compensate
for its unavailability during the first two weeks. The hall I'm in is brand new.
It's just finished. The paint was still wet when I moved in and they kept building
and bringing things. During the first two weeks, the laundry room didn't exist and
it was bad because we had no place to do our laundry. And we are talking about a
few hundred people here. I have loads of clothes and did some of them by hand.
So I didn't have any problem, but some people took their laundry to another hall. |

เราได้ใช้เครื่องซักผ้าฟรีเพราะเป็นการชดเชยที่ไม่มีที่ซักผ้าในช่วงสองสัปดาห์แรก

Anyway, when it was finally finished, they allowed us to use the facility for free for
a few weeks, which was very nice. We started to get spoiled. Now we have to pay.
It's 1.20 to use the washing machine and 20 for the dryer. It's not so bad, I guess.
But one of my flat mates was complaining that the machine ate up her coins
a couple of times. And that can be frustrating. |

I do realize that regardless of where you live, you will always encounter some problems.
But I think you don't have to if everything is run properly. If you think that the west
always means a better life, you are wrong. Bangkok is the best place to be.
It's definitely home to me . |
