Jogging is pretty much like romance.
When you jog for the first time,
you set unrealistic and unmanageable goals.
I'm going to do 5 rounds around the football field.
I will run for half an hour. I will do 3 kilometers
in 10 minutes. Then you start out with full
speed, putting everything into the first round.
Half a field goes by and you are out of breath.
The first time jogging doesn't turn out as you
plan it to be. You go home defeated and feel
low about yourself. Some promise themselves
they will do better tomorrow. Some says
sayonara to the tracks. The next times,
you learn to reserve your energy.
You don't set up goal. You ran as far as
you could. You don't start off full speed.
You reserve your energy and keep the
same speed through out. You try not to
go too fast and go where you go.
Before you know it, you've done 5 laps.

การวิ่งมันก็เหมือนกับความรักตอนที่เริ่มวิ่งครั้งแรก เธอ
จะฝันเพ้อ และตั้งความหวังลมๆ แล้งๆ ฉันจะวิ่งรอบ
สนามฟุตบอลห้ารอบ ฉันจะวิ่งครึ่งชั่วโมงฉันจะวิ่งสาม
กิโลในสิบนาทีคิดแล้วก็ออกวิ่งเต็มอัตรากำลัง ทุ่มสุดตัว
สุดใจวิ่งรอบแรกครึ่งรอบสนามเพิ่งจะผ่านไปเธก็นั่งหอบ
เเฮ่กเสียแล้ว การวิ่งครั้งแรกไม่เป็นไปอย่างที่หวังเสมอไป
เธอกลับบ้านไปอย่างผู้แพ้รู้สึกแย่กับตัวเอง บางคน
สัญญากับตัวเองว่าจะพยายามใหม่วันพรุ่งนี้บางคนก็
โบกมือซาโยนาระกับลู่วิ่งไปเลย ครั้งต่อมาเธอเริ่มเรียนรู้
ว่าควรออมแรงไว้เธอไม่ตั้งเป้าหมาย เธอวิ่งให้ไกลที่สุด
เท่าที่จะทำได้ ไม่ออกวิ่งสุดแรงเกิดเหมือนเดิม เธอออม
แรงแล้ววิ่งด้วยอัตราความเร็วคงที่ พยายามไม่วิ่งเร็วเกิน
ไปแล้วไปที่ที่ไปได้กว่าจะรู้สึกอะไรก็ผ่านไปห้ารอบแล้ว

This is pretty much like a relationship.
If you've never been in love, you will
put everything, all your heart and soul
into this first love. After a failure,
you learn not to expect to much and
be more careful. Then you won't be
underachievers since you haven't
set a goal.

ขึ้นเธอจะไม่เป็นคนล้มเหลวอีกต่อไปเพราะว่าเธอไม่ได้ตั้ง
ความหวังไว้มาก
