I haven't jogged for almost two
weeks and don't think I will find
time soon. I'm teaching two cute
private students. They are just nice.
I get paid by week and every time
I get pay, I think of how far I am on
my trip. Last Saturday my plane
actually took off and was flying over
Vietnam. By the end of this week,
I will make it to Hong Kong, then Korea.
Eventually my plane will land in Osaka,
my final destination. I am quite happy
with this thought.

ฉันไม่ได้วิ่งมาตั้งเกือบสองอาทิตย์แล้วและคิดว่าคงไม่
มีเวลาไปวิ่งในช่วงนี้ ฉันสอนพิเศษเด็กสองคนซึ่งน่ารักมาก
ฉันได้เงินเป็นอาทิตย์ และทุกครั้งที่ฉันได้เงินฉันก็นึกดู
เล่นๆ ว่าเงินจำนวนนี้จะพาฉันไปได้ไกลแค่ไหน เมื่อวัน
เสาร์ที่แล้ว เครื่องบินฉันขึ้นจากพื้นและกำลังบินอยู่เหนือ
น่านฟ้าเวียดนาม พอหมดอาทิตย์นี้ฉันคงถึงฮ่องกง แล้วก็
เกาหลี ในที่สุดฉันก็จะไปถึงโอซาก้า ซึ่งเป็นจุดหมาย
สุดท้าย พอคิดแล้วฉันก็มีความสุข

I love taking an air plane. It shortens
the distance and shrink the whole world.
San Francisco is a different story though.
Considering the money I've made
so far from teaching, I haven't made
it to the Don Muang Airport yet.

ฉันขอบนั่งเครื่องบินมาก มันร่นระยะทางและย่อโลกทั้งใบ
ให้เล็กลง แต่ซานฟรานซิสโกก็เป็นอีกเรื่องหนึ่ง เมื่อนึกถึง
เงินที่ฉันเพิ่งหาได้แล้ว ฉันยังเดินทางไปไม่ถึงสนามบิน

Since the boys left, my girls have
been talking about visiting them
in San Francisco next spring.
I will lead the troop as usual but that
means I have to give up my Japan trip.
I don't mind that though. I even
looked up uni's in that area on the net.
Wherever I go next year will be new for
me and will pose equal challenge; therefore,
it doesn't really matter where I go.
I have no relatives in the States
and these are the only friends I have.
So why not?

ตั้งแต่ที่หนุ่มๆ กลับบ้านไป สาวๆ ของฉันก็คุยกันเรื่องจะ
ไปเยี่ยมเขาที่ซานฟรานซิสโก ในฤดูใบไม่ผลิปีหน้า ฉันเอง

Suay is getting married in December.
Bob is coming to get her in November.
I think they are kind of too young. Well,
none of my business. Suay and I already
promised to visit some time whenever
that will be. At least we will be in the
same country and visa won't be a problem.
You might not know how difficult it is to get
around with a Thai passport. Do you know
that if you have an American or European
passport, you can go to many countries
without having to apply for a visa before
taking off. Tourists coming to Thailand
get 30-day visa upon arrival. Well,
do you remember when I talked about
the world of double standard.
Here we go again. What else is new.
