I have been online gathering information about
tourist attractions and accommodation in London
since I will have to be there on my own for about
two weeks. I talk to a friend who recently returned
from England. I have a few picks for hotels and
a list of things I would like to do and see in London.
Luckily, I got talking to my boss, who I always avoid
for no good reason. She made inquiries about my
trip and said she had a friend in London who owed
her a big favor. I could stay at her house in London.
The hostess comes and goes between Bangkok
and London so there's a good chance that I will
have a whole house and a housekeeper to myself.
Wow! This is getting very exciting.

London is an expensive city. That's only half
of the problem. The other half is that I'm accustomed
to comfortable lifestyle. That means I have to pay
more. A simply bed and breakfast cost 20 pounds
a day. And that's the weekly rate. I could stay in
a hostel but the idea of sharing a room with
a bunch of strangers puts me off.

Now the only thing I have to worry about is
transportation and direction since I have
a safe place to stay. This is going to be fun.
