Something exciting happened in this small town today. To avoid being obscure,
I will just give you a straightforward account. Simply somebody forgot their bag in the library.
This is not a big deal in other parts of the world, but this is England. When a bag is found,
police must come. They kept everybody out secured the area with their police tape.
Then they searched the bag. Again, this one was a false alarm. Everybody was
happy that it was but I suspect it to be anything more than a forgotten bag.
Poor owner, if I were the owner, I would not dare go claim my bag. There's no such this as
lost & found anymore. Here you should take a good care of your bag. Never leave it
unattended not in fear of having it stolen but in fear that the police might search your
bag and they might find something they don't like. |

วันนี้มีเรื่องน่าตื่นเต้นเกิดขึ้นในเมืองเล็ก ๆ แห่งนี้ เพื่อไม่ให้วกวน ฉันจะเล่าให้ฟังอย่างตรงไปตรงมาเลยแล้วกัน ง่าย ๆ
ก็คือ มีคนลืมกระเป๋าไว้ในห้องสมุด มันไม่ใช่เรื่องใหญ่เลยหากมันเกิดขึ้นที่อื่น แต่นี่มันอังกฤษ
เวลาที่มีใครลืมกระเป๋าไว้ ตำรวจจะมา ไล่คนออกไปหมดแล้วก็เอาเทปมาพันรอบบริเวณ
แล้วตำรวจก็ทำการค้นกระเป๋า ครั้งนี้ก็เป็นเรื่องตระหนกเก้ออีก ทุกคนดีใจที่มันเป็นแค่เรื่องเข้าใจผิด
แต่ฉันก็ว่าแล้วว่ามันไม่มีอะไรหรอก แค่มีคนลืมวางกระเป๋าไว้เท่านั้นเอง ถ้าฉันเป็นเจ้าของกระเป๋านะ
ฉันไม่กล้ามาขอรับกระเป๋าคืนหรอก ไม่มีการมาตามของหายหรอก อยู่ที่นี่ต้องระวังกระเป๋าให้ดี
อย่าวางทิ้งไว้มั่วซั่ว ไม่ใช่ว่ากลัวคนมาขโมยหรอกนะ แต่กลัวตำรวจมาค้นกระเป๋า
เดี๋ยวเขาจะมาเจอของที่เขาไม่ชอบใจเข้า |

This is a common practice here. In London, every now and then an underground
station will be closed for a few hours or may be only for half an hour.
Most of the time, it is because a bag is found with no owner.
They think the bag might have a bomb and police will get to do some work.
I'm saying this with a sarcastic tone, but do believe me that I'm glad I can talk

นี่เป็นเรื่องธรรมดาที่นี่ ในลอนดอนจะมีการปิดสถานีรถไฟฟ้าเป็นประจำ คราวละสองสามชั่วโมงบ้าง
ครึ่งชั่วโมงบ้าง ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพราะมีคนวางกระเป๋าทิ้งไว้ หาเจ้าของไม่เจอ เขาคิดว่ากระเป๋าอาจจะมีระเบิดก็ได้
เขาจึงเรียกตำรวจมาปฏิบัติหน้าที่ ฉันทำเป็นพูดเหน็บแนมก็จริง แต่เชื่อเถอะว่าฉันดีใจที่ฉันเอาเรื่องนี้มาพูดเล่นแบบนี้ได้
