We are in Ayutthya now. We visited
a few temples but that's not the
important part I want to share
with you today. I like the peaceful
way of life along the river. I wish
I could just give it all up and live
out here, spending my days doing
nothing but looking at the passing
boats. I know I can't do this.
It won't be me. But it's nice to be
able to let go and worry about nothing.

เรามาถึงอยุธยาแล้ว เราเยี่ยมชมวัดหลายแห่งแต่นั่นไม่
ใช่ประเด็นสำคัญที่ฉันอยากเล่าให้เธอฟังในวันนี้ ฉันชอบ
วิถีชีวิตที่สงบสุขริมฝั่งแม่น้ำ ฉันอยากจะละทิ้งทุกอย่าง
และมาใช้ชีวิตที่นี่ วันทั้งวันไม่ทำอะไร ได้แต่เฝ้าดูเรือที่
ผ่านไปมา ฉันรู้ว่าฉันทำไม่ได้หรอก นั่นไม่ใช่ฉัน แต่มันคง
ดีไม่น้อยที่จะละทิ้งทุกสิ่งและไม่ต้องกังวลใดๆ ทั้งสิ้น

You know what the fun part of
the trip was? It's the ghost story time.
After most people fall asleep and
the light was out. Brent, Jordan,
Jop, Aeoy, Nui, Ake, Jeff and me
gathered to listen to Jordan's ghost
story. Brent gave us the flashing
signal with his watch and we were
all on his bed. Jordan had stories
of the family demon to share and they
were really good. We had to whisper
because we didn't want to bother
other people and above all we
didn't want to wake up Gontong,
who might spoil all the fun. When
someone came into the room or
we saw someone moving, we
rushed back to our beds, just like
elementary school kids. Before we
started we did the head count to
make sure that there's no unwelcome
extra member. You know what I mean.
At around one o'clock I came out to
get a drink of water and I saw you!
Yeah! We finally got to Bangkok.
I will bathe in city light tomorrow.
I miss you so much but I confess
I had great time on the barge with
the kids. Good night, Bangkok.
It's nice to see you again.

ก้อนทองตื่น เขาอาจจะทลายบ่อนเราก็ได้ เวลามีคนเข้า
มาในห้องหรือเราเห็นใครขยับ เราก็วิ่งแจ้นกลับเตียง
เหมือนเด็กประถมในโรงเรียนกินนอน ก่อนที่เราจะเริ่มเล่า
เรื่องเราต้องนับหัวก่อน เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าไม่มีใครเกินมาโดย
ไม่ได้รับเชิญ ตอนประมาณตีหนึ่งฉันเดินออกมาและฉันก็
เห็นเธอ ไชโย ในที่สุดเราก็ถึงกรุงเทพ เราจะได้อาบแสง
เมืองกรุงเสียที ฉันคิดถึงเธอมากแต่ ฉันต้องขอสารภาพ
ว่าฉันสนุกกับเด็ก ๆ บนเรือมาก ราตรีสวัสดิ์กรุงเทพ
ดีใจจังที่ได้พบเธออีก
