I discovered a Co-Op near my place. It's about 10-minute walk. I never went in because I thought it's a pharmacy. They also have a supermarket. They actually have food! When I walk in that direction, normally I go to the post office or the fruit and vegetable store. Last Sunday, those stores were closed, so I walked into the Co-Op out of curiosity and I loved it.

Normally I will have to go into the city center to do my grocery shopping, which is a pain because I have to carry a lot of things and take the bus. I can't buy much and I can't buy ice-cream. Now the Co-Op is so near. If I buy a lot of things, I will have to carry it for only 10 minutes. The distance was not the part that got me excited. It' s the closing time. It's opened every day from 7am to 12pm. Isn't that great? This is the closest I can get to 7-eleven. Believe me. I'm not over-reacting. If you live in a town where everything shuts at 5.30, you will be jumping up and down when you find this Co-Op. |
